Local community members flocked last week to BRIC Arts | Media House for the first-ever 5x10 Talks, an event organized by the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership to showcase innovation in the neighborhood.
Thanks to support from Popular Community Bank, BRIC, Building on Bond, Brooklyn Brewery, and Titan, the event also raised funds to support the Partnership’s year-round public programming, like the Performing the Streets series, curated with the Downtown Brooklyn Arts Alliance, and our popular kids concerts every third Thursday at Albee Square.
The premise was simple: five leaders in culture and technology were asked to spend ten minutes answering the question, “What’s next?”
