Brian Cohen, an early investor in Pinterest, says entrepreneurs should get over their fears of being ripped off. It's a misnomer that patents will protect you, he says. If you've got a great idea, someone will copy you. But just because someone copies you, that doesn't mean they understand your vision, your plan or your customers, he says.
