Sustainable Energy Partners, a solar developer and energy consultancy based in New York City, is winning attention from solar experts in New York State.
The company recently presented at the New Energy New York 2010 Symposium, an event organized to help clean-energy companies showcase their products and meet potential backers.
The company is part of the NYC-Poly Incubator, an organization that helps New York City-based clean-tech startups get off the ground. Another member of the incubator is Rentricity, which helps water utilities produce energy from their operations with the help of hydrokinetic recovery systems. The company's president, Frank Zammataro, noted that Rentricity's technology could help New York reach its "clean energy goals."
