Info Session: Hacking for Energy at NYU

Academic

For NYU Community

Are you a grad student interested in entrepreneurship and working hands-on with the energy industry?
Hacking for Energy is the course for you.

Hacking for Energy challenges students to develop and test solutions to critical problems facing the energy industry using the Lean Startup methodology. Students apply to the class after independently forming interdisciplinary teams of 4, proposing a solution for a problem submitted by the energy industry. If accepted, the student teams will use the course to test and build their solution by getting out of the classroom, talking to customers, and interacting with industry professionals. Students must apply by November 27 to participate in the Spring 2018 semester.
