Abstract:

In this talk we will review emerging trends and technologies such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, mobile apps and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. In situ observations from UAVs or other cyber physical sensors can enhance ground level intelligence and aid in the creation of real time models . This talk will include a number of different projects within the School of Computer Science that utilise UAV's technology with main focus on the software development for UAVs and also a short presentation of postgraduate opportunities within the School of Computer Science in University College Dublin.
