Brooklyn 5G Summit

Conference / Symposium

For NYU Community

The Third Annual Brooklyn 5G Summit, hosted by NYU Wireless, NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and Nokia, brings together the brightest minds in 5G wireless communications. This year’s Summit will include topics related to overall 5G systems design across the entire spectrum range, progress in 5G channel modeling and 5G regulatory progress. You are welcome to sign up to view the livestream of the Summit, which is provided courtesy of IEEE and National Instruments.

An exciting addition this year is the inclusion of IoT use cases. As part of this, NXP, which is one of the world’s largest makers of semiconductors, is bringing a special “Smarter World” exhibit truck to campus. Faculty, students, and staff of NYU Tandon are invited to tour the exhibit, which will be on the Commons in front of Dibner, and learn about cutting-edge applications of emerging technologies. The exhibit will be open on Thursday, April 21 from 9 am–5 pm and on Friday, April 22 from 7:30 am–2 pm. Learn more about the “Smarter World” exhibit truck.
