All Poly Alumni are invited to join us for an after work networking reception at the Maximillian Gallery, located in the world renowed Sunset Marquis Hotel, hosted by Poly alumnus Philippe Adam, AE/Math Class of '92, with remarks from Department Head and Computer Science & Engineering Professor Keith Ross.
It will be a wonderful opportunity to visit this "Best of LA" gallery, reconnect with fellow alums, reminisce and hear about many of the exciting initatives happening at your alma mater!
Keith Ross, the Leonard J. Shustek Chair in Computer Science (2003), professor and department head (as of 2008) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, is an international expert in peer-to-peer networking and video streaming. Professor Ross will talk about his Skype and Facebook research, which has been featured in the NYT, NPR marketplace, and many other places:
