Alumni Association Thanksgiving Gathering @ Canstruction

For NYU Community

The Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association invites you to a Thanksgiving Gathering for local Poly Alumni!  We hope you will join us on Saturday, November 19, 2011 as we come together for casual conversation, networking  and reflection over lunch and a visit to the Canstruction exhibit at the World Financial Center.

Canstruction is an International Charity that organizes competitions in 100 cities worldwide featuring gravity defying sculptures made entirely out of food cans! At the end of the competition, food cans featured in the sculptures, as well as food cans donated by visitors, are all donated to the local food bank.

The alumni association invites you to witness this exciting and powerful exhibition.  We will gather for lunch, sponsored by AON, AON Benfield, and United Nations Financial Advisors, a United Nations Federal Credit Union owned company,  at P.J. Clarke's on the Husdon at 1:00pm.

Following lunch, we will take a self-guided tour of the Canstruction exhibit.  To learn more about the exhibit, and how Canstruction is joining in the fight against hunger, click here.  All participants are asked to bring a food can for donation at the Canstruction exhibit.

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT.  Although we are fully booked for lunch, those interested in joining us at the Canstruction exhibit should plan to meet us at the entrance to the exhibit at 3:00pm, where we will drop off our cans of food and take the self-guided tour.

Sincerely,
