Recipient of the 2011 Alumni Achievement Award for Graduates of the Organizational Behavior Program

Alicia Scaturro, a 2001 graduate of the MS in Organizational Behavior program at Polytechnic Institute of NYU, achieved rapid career success since completing her degree. Since 2002, Ms. Scaturro has been at Standard & Poor’s, a Division of The McGraw-Hill Companies, where she rose to become the Manager of Talent Acquisition, with responsibility for executive recruitment at McGraw-Hill Financial. Prior to this role, Ms. Scaturro was Manager of Talent Development Initiatives at McGraw-Hill Corporate where she managed the Global Mentoring Programs and the Women’s Initiative for Networking and Success (WINS). In her many projects, Ms. Scaturro continues to introduce innovative technologies to improve HR effectiveness. She is also involved with other projects at McGraw-Hill including Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Business Process Management and the Board of Directors for WINS and Mentoring. While completing her studies at Polytechnic in a BS/MS honors program, Ms. Scaturro served as the PolySHRM chapter President. She has continued her involvement with Polytechnic by participating in mentoring and networking events for students as well as lecturing in the Talent Management course. At these events, Ms. Scaturro provided insights based on her professional knowledge. In recognition of her accomplishments, Ms. Scaturro will receive a Polytechnic Alumni Achievement Award and share her experience that helped her attain rapid career success.
