Last year the City, NYU-Poly, and Trinity Real Estate, launched its first business incubator for emerging companies in New York City’s growing entrepreneurship and innovation sectors. Over the last 12 months, incubator tenant companies have created 125 jobs and raised over $8 million in external funding.
NYCEDC President Seth W. Pinsky, Polytechnic Institute of NYU President Jerry Hultin, Trinity Real Estate President Carl Weisbrod, New York City-based start-up and early-stage companies, venture capital and angel investors, and special guests will gather to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of the Varick Street incubator.
