Prior to joining the FRE Program at NYU in the Fall of 2020, Raymond Luo graduated from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor with a Bachelor's in Mathematics. In the summer of 2019, he had interned at China Securities in Shanghai for Quantitative Research. Following a two-year hiatus, he interned at BNP Paribas Global Markets in Quantitative Research for eCredit and FX options trading. Growing up with a focus on mathematics and computer science, he has an avid interest in the interaction of sophisticated theoretical models and their applications to real financial data. In particular, he really enjoys options pricing models and their financial mathematical intuitions.
In his free time, he enjoys finding good restaurants and drinking milk tea. He has lived in eight major cities in China and the United States so he is very excited to talk to people with different backgrounds. His other hobbies include tennis and photography.
