Global Challenge: Solving Cybersecurity Issues

I think especially now with the coronavirus and the resulting racism and fear, there’s an even greater need for global knowledge and empathy and that’s really what 21st century engineering is about.”

I am a sophomore from Bellingham, Washington studying computer engineering. I am interested specifically in software development and cybersecurity. So far at NYU, I have been involved with the Society of Women Engineers, the All-University Concert Band, and the Brass Choir. I have a strong background in music as a former high school drum major and section leader which garnered leadership and teamwork experience through connecting and mentoring a wide variety of people. In my free time, you’ll find me playing music, gaming, or dabbling in creative writing and graphic design.
