Janith Weerasinghe is a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at the Tandon School of Engineering. His research interests lie in the intersection of machine learning, social media, and privacy. Some of his research projects include identifying inauthentic social media engagements and using stylometry (the analysis of writing style) to analyze sockpuppet and troll accounts on social media platforms. He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Drexel University, Philadelphia.
