Web and Creative Content Manager
Tameka is the Web and Creative Content Manager (formerly Web and Creative Developer) at NYU Tandon Online, among top-ranked grad engineering schools by US News & World Report. Currently, she assists with the enrollment marketing and lead generation efforts. She manages all web/creative requests for the unit (i.e. the creation of digital and print materials for upcoming events, website design and development, as well as website maintenance).
Tameka designs and develops micro-websites and landing pages to promote the online graduate degree programs; also focusing on co-branded site pages for corporate client and society partners. She’s successfully done project management, web design, and creative work for two of NYU School of Engineering’s large annual events: Cyber Security Lecture Series and the Human Capital Innovation in Technology & Analytics Conferences.
In addition, to her web and creative support Tameka has managed several Google AdWords and Geo-Targeting campaigns. Tameka has also served as a representative to our corporate partners and traveled to partnership and client events to assist with marketing outreach and graduate student recruitment efforts.
Tameka’s background and experience consists of: Online Interactive Ad Marketing, Advertising, Broadcast Journalism, and Online Media in Higher Education. Prior to her positions here, Tameka started her own freelance web and graphic design business which she managed for more than a year. She has a Master of Science in Management and Systems, Database Technologies; a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Journalism, Broadcast; and a Web Design Certification. Tameka has also completed certified Google AdWords training.
