Jessie Guy-Ryan has worked in higher education for over ten years in both online and on-campus engineering and health science programs and the undergraduate and graduate levels. She holds a Master’s degree in Learning Design & Technology from San Diego State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University. During her graduate studies, she worked on instructional design projects for non-profit and corporate clients such as the San Diego Zoo and Sony Entertainment Corporation of America and has presented at the Online Learning Consortium (formerly Sloan-C)'s annual Online Learning Conference, as well as the WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies Annual Conference. At Tandon Online, Jessie works to ensure online programs at Tandon provide high-quality, learner-centered experiences and is particularly interested in the role of online learning and educational technologies in introductory computer science education for adults.
