Sergio Lopez

  • Live Virtual Learning Technician


Sergio is one of the Live Virtual Learning Technicians here at NYU-ePoly. He works with the Live Virtual Learning program, providing high-quality audio and video for online students and facilitating a new level of interactivity with classes.

Aside from LVL, Sergio also assists the department in developing online courses through the use of high-definition video and audio, as well as chroma-keying (aka “green screen”). He also edits the courses for future viewing on NYU’s own educational platform, NYU Classes.

Sergio graduated from Juniata College in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Digital Media, and received a Master’s in Integrated Digital Media from the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering (then NYU-Poly) in 2013. He has extensive experience with the creative side of technology, as well as the application of digital video for educational and performance purposes. Sergio is also experienced in graphic design for web and print. He even designed the logo currently used for the LVL program!
