Overview

The NYC Media Lab is dedicated to driving innovation and job growth in media and technology by fostering collaboration between New York City’s universities and companies. The Lab intends to amplify media innovation, build pipelines between companies and academia; while at the same time ensuring that all of these technologies are available to as diverse a community as possible.

The Lab is built on corporate membership. Member companies participate in roundtable events on technology issues; connect with one another and with faculty, students, and other university resources; and direct projects on areas of interest to them.

NYC Media Lab facilitates prototyping projects across a wide range of disciplines and programs. Browse our prototyping projects by area of interest and contact us at nycmedialab@nyu.edu to learn more.
