Pierre Marc Paras
Meet Pierre Marc Paras, a Los Angeles native and a Mechanical Engineering junior at the School of Engineering. Pierre is highly involved in clubs and activities, and has most likely been in every building on campus by the end of each day. He is a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, an orientation leader, a peer counselor and a student ambassador.
When the weather is nice, Pierre spends most of his time on his long board. You can find him skating over to Rogers Hall for class and lab in the morning, to work-study at admissions and to the cafeteria for lunch with friends. In his free time, Pierre likes to write and perform spoken word poetry, as well as make frequent visits to Manhattan. “I love picking a random spot in the City and exploring,” says Pierre. “I make it a point to try something new every chance I get.”

After a long day of clubs, work and classes, Pierre likes to play basketball in the gym before he heads over to his fraternity house to hang out with his brothers.
