Graduate Student Employment and Training Program (GSET) | NYU Tandon School of Engineering

Graduate Student Employment and Training Program (GSET)

Graduate Student Employment and Training (GSET) is the School of Engineering's on-campus employment program for graduate students. It is designed to support the School of Engineering's invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship philosophy.

The GSET program bridges the gap between academia and the professional world by helping graduate students:

  • Develop professional skills
  • Become problem solvers
  • Create strong foundations for successful careers
  • Learn about business ethics
  • Understand cutting-edge technology
  • Develop an entrepreneurial spirit

You must be a full-time the School of Engineering graduate student who does not have a job outside of the School of Engineering to be eligible for the GSET program. You must also have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to maintain your GSET position (in your first semester, before you receive any grades, you are exempt from this requirement).
