Research Interests

Coastal physical oceanography, interaction between physics and ecosystem, and fluid mechanics from the micro- scale to the global scale.
1. Development of an ecosystem model.
2. Risk assessment and sustainable development in the coastal system such as resilient coastal environments.
3. Numerical modeling of fluid mechanics to understand changes caused by natural hazards ( warming scenario, hurricanes, etc.) and infrastructure system (dam construction, sewage or oil spill, etc.).
4. Lab experiments and Field observations.
