Biography

Professor Chen is an assistant professor at NYU - Abu Dhabi and a researcher at the Center for Technology and Economic Development (CTED) in Abu Dhabi. He is affiliated with NYU-Poly as a Visiting Assistant Professor. Professor Chen's areas of interest include: Distributed Systems, Networking, Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICTD), and Human-Computer Interaction. His recent research interests include Web access under poor connectivity, Mobile Networks, Information Retrieval, Computer Security issues in developing regions.
