Jack Toolin to Appear at Woodstock Digital Media Festival

Adjunct professor Jack Toolin is conducting a 'performative geography' event as part of the Woodstock Digital Media Festival .

The piece is called "Village Idiot." This generative storytelling event encourages Woodstock residents to share their recollections about the things they love and things they endure as residents. The Idiot will learn about Woodstock's history, its trials and tribulations, and its people as he listens to local lore and strolls about the town guided by volunteer resident docents. Documentation of these exchanges will be presented to the public in a culminating research report, accompanied by story synopses, photographs and videos, and the Idiot's own semi-lucid assessment.
