BROOKLYN, NY - The NYU-Poly softball team had a simple equation ahead of them in Thursday's Skyline Conference regular season finale with St. Joseph's. Win two and likely host, in the upcoming playoffs, split and be on the road, or lose both and be out.
They took the first option in impressive fashion rolling over the Lady Golden Eagles in game one 7-2 and then rallying from a 7-1 deficit in game two for the 11-8 win.
NYU-Poly will now face Old Westbury, however, it has yet to be decided who hosts, as both teams have the same record, split head-to-head, and split with first-place Farmingdale.
