Tennis Falls to USMMA, Beats Bard

Improves to 3-1 in Skyline


Annandale-on-Hudson, NY -  The NYU-Poly men's tennis team picked up another Skyline Conference win on Saturday, this time at the mercy of Bard College. The Jays were almost perfect, winning 8-1. They now move into a tie with Farmingdale for 2nd place.

Prior to the Bard match, the Jays fell 7-2 to non-conference for Merchant Marine Academy.

Singles winners against Bard included sophomore Yan Krasny (Far Rockaway, NY) , who remains undefeated at first singles. Other winners were Julian Wrede (New York, NY) , Kyle Garingalao (Eatontown, NJ), Connor Doherty (San Leandro, CA), Anton Fyodorov (Brooklyn, NY), and Conor Dawson (Novato, CA). NYU-Poly also won two of the three doubles contests.

Against Merchant Marine, Fyodorov and DJ Erraballi (Fremont, CA) were the lone winners, at 2nd and 4th singles. Merchant Marine swept the doubles play matches.

NYU-Poly travels to Ramapo College today for a non-conference match.
