Bioengineering Research & Practice, a partnership with Montclare Labs of the School of Engineering, concluded in Monday, August 5th. High school students collaborated with the School of Engineering graduate students and Professor Jin Montclare. The summer program focused on experiments with roots in biology relating to human disorder treatment and medicine. In the program, the students had the opportunity to conduct biomedical research on their own DNA. For their final presentations, the students presented on topics ranging from gastrointestinal cancer, breast cancer, genetic engineering, and HIV/AIDS.
