In the second-to-last weekend of April, alumni ranging from the Class of 1958 to the Class of 2011, returned to Brooklyn reconnect with their alma mater!
On Friday, members of the Class of 1963 - who are celebrating their Golden Jubilee - met at the Wunsch Buidling for a cocktail hour to reminisce over old times before dinner.
The following day, the Class of 1963 were joined by fellow alums for Back to School Day. They were led on campus tours by current students. The tours consisted of classroom sessions with Associate Professor Mauro Porfiri and Dr. Chris Leslie, as well as a tour of the School of Engineering game lab. The morning ended with lunch in the School of Engineering gym where alumni were welcomed by Director of Alumni Relations, Valerie Cabral. During lunch, President of the School of Engineering and Dean of Engineering at NYU, Katepalli Sreenivasan, spoke about Polytechnic's present influence throughout Brooklyn. The Class of 1963 was inducted into the Golden Jubilee Society in celebration of their 50 years as Poly alumni.
