Interested in representing your peers and your school to the NYU Senate? NYU Polytechnic seeks to fill our undergraduate and graduate Senator positions, with NYU's Student Senator Council for the spring 2014!
A student may only run in the school of which they are a student in. Past attendance at Student Council GA Meetings are generally encouraged. The School Senator will act as a liaison between their respective school, the Student Senators Council (SSC), and the University Committee on Student Life (UCSL), and the University Senate. They must attend ALL called meetings of the SSC and UCSL, which are generally held Thursdays at Washington Square from 4pm to 6pm.
In order to run for the Student Senator position, prospective candidates MUST complete this application by 11:59 pm on Friday, 11/22. Prospective candidates, both undergraduate and graduate, will also need to send an appropriate head shot of themselves (for the online election ballot) to firstname.lastname@example.org with "School of Engineering SSC Rep Headshot" in the subject line.
Candidates will have time to approve the ballot before it goes live on Monday, 12/9. Election will close on 12/13.
