Now that you have confirmed your arrival, make sure to register for and check out the schedule for New Student Orientation. Be prepared for fun, informative, and meaningful events and programs, all geared toward you as you begin your journey with us. This is mandatory for all incoming undergraduate students. For more information about getting started, please follow the link provided. You will get access to the New Undergraduate Student Checklist, which includes information about campus life as well as registration and scheduling information.
Make sure to utilize the checklist to ensure a smooth transition to NYU and the School of Engineering! As part of this, make sure to submit your information for your NYU ID.
Sign-up to participate in Student Council's Mentorship Program! This program pairs first-year students with an upperclassmen mentee who provides guidance and insight about the School of Engineering experience. Students also participate in workshops, bi-weekly group meetings, and off-campus outings
Transfer students arrive with a foundation of knowledge about transitioning to higher education. Transfer students also attend our New Student Orientation events and activities so that they can become acclimated to the community. For additional details on the Transfer Student orientation schedule.
NOTE: All Transfer students need to take the Mathematics Placement Exam, please click on the link for more information.
All International students will be required to meet with the Office of Global Services. This time will be built in during the Orientation schedule. For additional information please check out the OGS website.
