Living on campus should feel like your “home away from home.” There are many ways to connect with people, places, and parts of the city and The Office of Residential Life & Housing Services is here to help this happen.
The best way to feel like you are a part of the community is to get involved. Join an organization, participate in a leadership workshop, or create your own organization and programming! Utilize your Resident Assistant (RA) and hall staff to help you find out what is there for you and what your interests are.
Thank you for your interest in the Office of Residential Life & Housing Services' Student Staff selection process. We are excited that you are considering submitting an application to become a Resident Assistant (RA)! This site is frequently updated, so please bookmark this page and check back. Here is where you will find all the information necessary to be informed about the positions we offer and, if you choose to apply, to create and submit your application.

Our goal is to enhance international student life in the residence halls at the School of Engineering. We hope to help international students experience a smooth transition into the United States by providing opportunities for peer interaction, assisting with integration to U.S. society, and helping students stay linked to their own culture while connecting to the greater NYU/ the School of Engineering community.
In order to achieve these goals, we will conduct on-going dialogue sessions, provide support at the hall level through RA involvement, and organize social events which foster the welcoming environment we hope to create.
With these goals and ideals in mind, we embody not only the potential but also the ability to create a positive and enjoyable experience for our international students at the School of Engineering. (more opportunities)
