NYU Wireless 5G Propagation Paper Recognized

The IEEE Vehicular Technology Society board of directors has awarded the 2017 Neal Shepherd Propagation Prize to the NYU Wireless-led paper, “Investigation of Prediction Accuracy, Sensitivity, and Parameter Stability of Large-Scale Propagation Path Loss Models for 5G Wireless Communications.” The May 2016 paper, led by NYU Wireless graduate student Shu Sun, studied the sensitivity and accuracy of large scale path loss models that predict levels of signal and interference for 5G millimeter wave systems.
