Varick Street Incubator Celebrates 2nd Anniversary

Yesterday the Varick Street Incubator celebrated its 2nd anniversary with rooftop event in the Skyroom Times Square. Opened in July of 2009, the incubator was created to provide NY startup companies with space and basic business services.
The incubator was the first of its kind to be launched by NY and was developed by the NYCEDC, Trinity Real Estate and the Polytechnic Institute of New York University. Since the incubator was launched, it has created 351 new jobs and has raised $26 million in new capitol.
