Excerpt from speech:
Of course, technology is still a hot commodity — and the merger of New York University and Brooklyn’s Polytechnic University means more new tech startups in Brooklyn. Kudos to president Jerry Hultin, whose [Polytechnic Institute of NYU] campus is dedicated to promoting “innovation, invention, and entrepreneurship.” Now, N-Y-U really “begins in Brooklyn!”
President Jerry Hultin , please stand!
Yes, Brooklyn is a real college town! We’ve got more college students than Cambridge, Massachusetts! And there’s no “innovation” without “education.”
