You are invited to join the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering for a six-week, four credit summer course in Pre-Calculus (MA914). This course will cover the basic foundations of algebra.
MORE ABOUT PRE-CALCULUS
This course is designed for high school students who want to improve their Algebra I and II skill as well as their understanding of the fundamentals required for Calculus. Students will learn exponents, multiplication of algebraic expressions, factoring algebraic expressions, working with algebraic fractions, proportionality, rates of change, and more.
Classes begin Monday, July 7th and end on Friday, August, 15th. Classes meet Monday thru Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Please note: we are offering a morning class and an afternoon class. Please be sure to sign up for the class that works best with your schedule.)
Scholarships are available up to $3,300.
Classes are open to students graduating high school in 2015 or 2016 and should have at least a 3.0 GPA.
