Illustrate Online Security Risks

Submit a "public service" video or animated spot aimed at raising awareness of everyday cyber security threats, such as (but not limited to) social networking issues, privacy, malware, downloading un-trusted software, visiting infected websites, opening unknown attachments, or phishing. Your video should attempt to raise public awareness of the importance of safeguarding one's information online as well as preventative measures to achieve this goal. Rules and Conditions

  • Submissions should be no longer than 60 seconds and not contain any violence, nudity, or foul language
  • Participants can submit 1 video only
  • Winners will be determined by a weighted combination of votes from internet voters, judges, and CSAW attendees
  • Only currently registered students (high school, undergraduate, or graduate) may apply
  • We reserve the right to request proof of registration

By making a submission, entrants give permission to the School of Engineering to edit and/or redistribute the submission. Any entries which do not adhere to all of the above rules and conditions are subject to disqualification.
