Bo Gu: Graduated in December 2014 with MS Thesis. Research Project: An Approach to Augment Building Information Models (BIM) for Existing Buildings by Fusing Maintenance and Crowdsourcing Data. Bo worked on developing a framework to enable generation of as-is Building Information Models for existing facilities by leveraging existing documentation that are captured through the life time of facilities. Varun Kumaraswamy: Graduated in May 2014 with MS Thesis. Research Project: Varun worked on the Energy Efficient Buildings Hub Project to design and deliver a building energy dashboard for a highly sensed building in the Navy Yard. Varun worked on analyzing sensor data generated from building operations and building maintenance tasks to identify opportunities for improvement in facilities management tasks.
