ASCO Numatics,is proud to offer our 2012 college engineering scholarship program aimed at rewarding exceptional undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a career in manufacturing and processing engineering.
ASCO Numatics will award two, $5,000 scholarships to U.S. engineering students who are pursuing careers in industrial automation-related disciplines. Additionally, ASCO Numatics will make $1,000 grants to the engineering departments of the colleges in which the winners are enrolled. The scholarships are merit-based and will be awarded on the candidate’s potential for leadership and for making a significant contribution to the engineering, instrumentation, systems, and automation professions, particularly as they relate to the application of fluid control and fluid power technologies. Scholarship recipients may be eligible for an ASCO Numatics internship.
The ASPIRE award from the National Science Foundation will prepare its recipients with strong technical training and a security mindset that looks beyond just technology while approaching problems. As part of the Federal Scholarship for Service (SFS) program, it will nurture leadership, community service, and good citizenship in its scholars, producing a cadre of Scholarship for Service graduates ready for some of the most crucial challenges of our time.
The scholarship supports two- to three years of stipends, tuition and allowance for students in the general area of information assurance and cybersecurity. The Scholarships cover expenses normally incurred by full-time students in the institution, including tuition and education related fees (does not include items such as meal plans, housing, or parking). Additionally, students awarded the scholarship will also be given academic year stipends of $20,000 per year for undergraduate students, $25,000 for master’s degree students, $30,000 per year for doctoral students, and many other benefits.
The AGC Education and Research Foundation (AGCERF) is happy to invest in the future of the construction industry by awarding scholarships to deserving students in construction management and engineering programs across the country. In 2012, 111 scholarships were awarded through the generosity of our donor-supported funds. The scholarships for undergraduates are $2,500 per year and can be renewed for up to three years.

The NSF Federal Cyber Service Scholarship for Service (SFS) grant provides financial aid to students wishing to pursue advanced studies in the field of information assurance and security. The scholarship will cover full tuition and any other academic fees. In addition, it will also provide a stipend of $8,000 an academic year to undergraduates and $12,000 for graduates. The National Hydropower Association Past Presidents' Legacy Scholarship Program, sponsored by the National Hydropower Association, is open to current college sophomores or juniors who will be juniors or seniors beginning in the fall; or graduate students; with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent), who are enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate course of study at an accredited four-year college or university. It is also open to students with an equivalent GPA at an accredited vocational-technical school or program. Applicants must be United States citizens or legal residents. The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) is pleased to announce the Twenty-Third Annual I/ITSEC Graduate Student Scholarships. Renamed the RADM Fred Lewis Postgraduate Scholarships, or Lewis Scholarships, awards are being offered at a Masters level in the amount $5,000, and at a Doctoral level in the amount of $10,000.
