Curriculum - Systems Engineering, MS

To satisfy the degree requirements for the Master of Science in Systems Engineering at the School of Engineering, you must complete 30 credits consisting of 3 core courses and 2 tracks.

At least 1 track must be a core track and a minimum of 3 courses should be taken in each track. One course in each track may be a core course. You can choose the remaining credits (up to 9) from any science, engineering, or management courses offered at the School of Engineering.

Should you choose to write a MS thesis (6 credits), only 2 courses in a track are required.

At least 15 of the credits you take should be from EL-prefixed courses. You must achieve a GPA of 3.0 or above in all graduate courses. For additional information about recommended electives, rules and procedures, transfer credits, and the like, consult the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering's Graduate Student Manual.
