The NYU IT Service (ITS) Desk provides tech support for NYU-ePoly students.
The IT Service Desk is now officially available to the NYU community as a 24-hour service. Callers will be connected to someone who will resolve their IT-related question day or night, 365 days per year (including holidays).

NYU-ePoly recommends that online students have access to a computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Computers available at work, a library, or other public areas may prohibit your login times, download capabilities, or even have firewalls that prevent you from getting to your course. You will also need the ability to save or store documents. NYU-ePoly courses can be taken on both PCs and MACs.
You will need your own Internet account with a local Internet Service Provider (ISP). Most ISP accounts can be obtained for a nominal fee, which you are responsible for.
Registered students must use their NYU email account as the official form of communication with NYU.
ITS provides email service to NYU faculty, staff, and students in degree or diploma programs, both in the United States and overseas. For information on policies relating to email at NYU, visit the ITS Policies page of this website.
Email can be accessed via a web browser at email.nyu.edu, via NYUHome or by using a mobile device or desktop program such as Thunderbird or Outlook. If you wish to access NYU Email via a mobile device or desktop program, configuration instructions can be found in the ServiceLink knowledge base.
You may need MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) depending on the course you take. You should also have the following free downloads: Adobe Acrobat Reader, RealPlayer, Adobe Flash Player, and Java. Your instructor will indicate if you need to purchase or download additional software in order to participate effectively in your online courses.
