NYU Tandon School of Engineering (formerly NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering) offers a wide variety of online Master’s Degrees, Graduate Certificates and Immersion Certifications. Individuals can also register for specific courses under our Visiting Student Status.
In order to pursue a master’s degree or graduate certificate, you must be admitted to NYU Tandon School of Engineering as a degree seeking student. Individuals can apply for the Fall, Spring or Summer semester. Please see our Application Requirement and Deadline Dates for step-by-step instructions on how to apply.
Each certification is a 3-course, 9 credit Certificate of Completion program focused on current industry needs. Courses completed under this program can be applied to a qualified master’s degree program, upon admission. Individuals can apply for the Fall, Spring or Summer semester. Please review our Qualifications and Registration page to start the enrollment process.
If you wish to take one or two courses at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and don’t wish to apply, you can register as a Visiting Student. Visiting Students are individuals who wish to take specific courses for professional development, or individuals from other universities wishing to transfer credit back to their university. To register for your online course, you must use the NYU Albert system. Online NYU-ePoly courses are labeled as “Campus: EPOLY.” Please visit our ePoly Orientation Website, ePolyConnect for a step-by-step guide on how to enroll.
Online courses are open to any NYU graduate and undergraduate student, pending approval of your academic advisor and the department who is offering your chosen course. There is no limit to how many courses you can take online per semester, except for students with an F-1 visa. Should you have an F-1 Visa, please contact NYU OISS for details.
