Honors students have access to a variety of opportunites to further their academic interests and professional development throughout their college career, such as opportunities for internships, undergraduate research, company site visits, and specialized extracurricular activities.

Honors Program Highlights

  • An undergraduate experience rooted in a research-intensive environment. Honors students complete a BS thesis based on independent research with faculty.
  • A dedicated Honors adviser and the opportunity to participate in specialized extracurricular events throughout the year that build a strong sense of community.
  • An emphasis on Creative Action: Invention, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (i2e) balanced with scholarly and professional development activities embedded throughout the Program.
  • Honors students are eligible for one course tuition-free (up to 4 credits) per summer for 4 consecutive summer sessions. This course may be taken at any NYU school except for the NYU Study Away sites.
