Throughout 2013, New York University’s Facilities and Construction Management (FCM) department staff have intensified their efforts to prepare for the NYU-Poly merger, and assumption of responsibilities for the operation, maintenance and construction of NYU-Poly’s facilities, including assigning , FCM staff to assist with managing construction projects in Brooklyn.
Within the new year, FCM will continue to partner with Dennis Dintino (VP, Finance & Business Affairs) and Danny Aniello (Director, Administration) as continues. In the new year, the responsibilities of the Director of Facilities and Construction Management for the NYU School of Engineering and all Brooklyn locations will be assumed by James (Jim) Burgess. Jim will be working closely with the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering facilities service staff and facilities management staff assigned to the school, to ensure the facilities are functioning optimally to serve the academic mission of the University and the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. We look forward to welcoming the integrated NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering facilities service and engineering staff into the FCM department.
