The School of Engineering has partnered with leading professional societies and associations as Society Co-Sponsors. If you are a member of one of our society partners and are a part-time graduate student, you can receive rebates on any course you complete successfully, saving you thousands of dollars as you earn your degree. As a member, you are entitled to a 10% tuition rebate on any online graduate course in which you are enrolled. To take advantage of this benefit, complete and submit the Society Members Registration Form below and fax a copy of your membership card (or proof of membership) to 718-260-3571.
To qualify, you must:
Be a member in good standing of your society prior to the start of the semester.
Complete the Society Member Registration Form.
Provide a copy of the front and back of your current society membership card or other proof of membership with your Society Member Form, in person, by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax (718-260-3571).
Complete your course satisfactorily (incompletes or withdrawals do not qualify).
Your rebate cannot be combined with other discounts or scholarships from the School of Engineering.
If you are an undergraduate or a full-time graduate student, you are not eligible to receive rebates through this program.
You can apply for the previous semester within 2 weeks of the course completion (check the academic calendar for course end dates: http://engineering.nyu.edu/academics/calendar). You can also apply for a rebate for the current semester (your rebate will not be processed until all grades have been recorded).
